Privacy by architecture
Privacy is not our policy,
It's our architecture.
FilmProcessor was built for professionals who produce content for cinema, broadcast, and online, with the need to securely move them around the internet without giving up ownership in the process.
Our Transcoder, DCP Studio, Surround Mixer, and Media Player all run locally in your browser. The only time your data touches our infrastructure is when you store and transfer your files — even then, we cannot, and will not ever, view your files. We use zero-knowledge encryption. The key lives with you, not with us.
Why we exist
Big Files, Not Big Data.
The major file transfer companies' main profits don't come from the service they claim to be selling. They collect, track, and monetise your every move on the internet. Some have openly stated they reserve the right to use your private content for training machine learning models. Your rough cut. Your unreleased score. Your client's confidential TVC. Sitting on their servers, feeding their corporate agenda while you pay for this exploitation.
This is shocking. There has to be another way.
The browser as a tool
Near-native speeds,
zero installs.
Open source tools such as FFmpeg, and WebAssembly allow us to run industry-grade post-production tools at near-native speeds directly in your browser. No downloads, no installers, no compatibility headaches. You already have the advanced software installed, whether it's Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, on Windows, Mac, or Linux. We simply harness that power and interoperability to bring you what you need.
No cookies, no tracking, no tricks
We are your alpha channel.
Trust is transparency. No cookies. No analytics scripts following you around the internet. No behavioural profiles sold to advertisers. No fine print that quietly opts you into something you never agreed to.
FilmProcessor was created as a response to a systemic failure of trust within our industry. If there is a feature you need, get in touch with us on our contact page. We will build it. Faster than you expect.
